As the roosters roam and crow around the Arroyo Grande City Hall building, you really get the feeling of country at this downtown market. Artists are selling their wares by the creek-side and musicians fill the air with music.

The setting couldn’t be a more enticing venue to stroll through Farmers’ Market and stock up for the week with the freshest and most abundant produce around. It’s located right at the footbridge in old downtown Arroyo Grande, giving this country market a small urban-like feel.

Every Saturday from 12:00 noon to 2:30 p.m., come sample the Farm Fresh Produce & Flowers, Art Show and Live Entertainment in the Parking Lot at 215 East Branch Street. We offer a veritable symphony of freshly grown fruits, vegetables, flowers and plants. The market also features quality items from local artists. All artists are participating members of the distinguished El Camino Art Association.

Nov 5    Hike to the Point San Luis Lighthouse

The trail to the Point San Luis Lighthouse is open to 20 hikers on Wednesday with a departure time of 9 AM and a return time of 1 PM. Reservations are strongly encouraged to avoid being turned away at the trailhead. Reservations need to be made two weeks in advance of the hike.

The hike to the Point San Luis Lighthouse is 3.75 miles and moderately strenuous with uneven terrain, steep cliffs and grades, narrow trails, and crumbling earth. Sturdy hiking shoes are required.

An admission fee of $5 per adult will be required of those accessing the Lighthouse Headkeeper's quarters tour. The rest of the site and buildings can be visited at no charge. Children under 12 are free. This fee supports the work of the Point San Luis Lighthouse Keepers' restoring, maintaining, and operating visitor services at this Historic Site.

Nov 22    Silent Film with Malibu Silent Film Orchestra
On Saturday, November 22nd, the SLOIFF will present “A Silent Night” with a screening of the 1919 silent comedy/drama, DADDY LONG LEGS along with a Silent Auction to benefit the upcoming 2015 Festival. The film will be accompanied by the Malibu Silent Film Orchestra, led by composer/violist Maria Newman, with an original score played by a 7-piece orchestra. DADDY LONG LEGS was one of Mary Pickford’s most well-known and popular films.The event will take place at the SLO Masonic Lodge beginning at 6:30pm with a food and wine reception and the silent auction.Advance tickets are $35/$30 on our website slofilmfest.org($45/$40 at door) and include food, wine, silent auction and the film. Nov 29    Arroyo Grande Farmers' Market


As the roosters roam and crow around the Arroyo Grande City Hall building, you really get the feeling of country at this downtown market. Artists are selling their wares by the creek-side and musicians fill the air with music.

The setting couldn’t be a more enticing venue to stroll through Farmers’ Market and stock up for the week with the freshest and most abundant produce around. It’s located right at the footbridge in old downtown Arroyo Grande, giving this country market a small urban-like feel.

Every Saturday from 12:00 noon to 2:30 p.m., come sample the Farm Fresh Produce & Flowers, Art Show and Live Entertainment in the Parking Lot at 215 East Branch Street. We offer a veritable symphony of freshly grown fruits, vegetables, flowers and plants. The market also features quality items from local artists. All artists are participating members of the distinguished El Camino Art Association.
